These vases have been purchased through this website and are being used in homes & workplaces (receptions, schools, hospitals, restaurants, cafes, hairdressers, you name it!) throughout Australia and beyond.
Each one has a handcrafted shape and unique stone texture & colour.
Individual sections of raw slate are carefully handpicked for quality and durability and then put through a rigorous process of being hammered, shaped and drilled. The result is a sturdy artisan piece with expected use for many years to come.
As every vase is a one-off, please know it cannot be recreated.

ABOUT THE SLATE VASE:
This artistic product offers a wonderfully low-maintenance way to have longer-lasting arrangements. The shallow profile concept is based on an Ikebana-style vase from Japan - with our unique addition of the natural stone.
Each piece of raw SLATE is handpicked carefully for its quality and durability. Then undergoes a rigorous process of being hammered, shaped and drilled – The result is a sturdy artisan piece crafted with love and care.

SIZE – DELUXE (Premium):

EXTRA LARGE hole in slate and DELUXE Kenzan (spikes).
There are two Kenzan sizes in this DELUXE range: K1 (42cm) as standard for the Deluxe size. Occasionally a Vase will have a K2 (52cm) - this will be indicated in the title details. -
These DELUXE Kenzans will fit more stems into the hole and accommodate the very thick stems of such items as gingers and large sunflowers.

EXTRA LARGE water reservoir under slate (21cm diameter).
This feature provides increased function over the other vases. It offers the LARGEST water supply and also increased BALANCE for tall top-heavy arrangements. -
DELUXE is our premium vase - it will take ALL HEIGHTS of arrangements.
It has the stability to support very tall arrangements (as well as succulents), the function/water supply to easily sustain many stems and a magnificent presence for a large table centrepiece or lobby entrance.

The ample space on the DELUXE-sized surface can also display other items eg. decor, seashells, pebbles, sentimental ornaments and/or business cards.
